IN-KIND GATHERING OF GIFTS

Picture
Must Ministries in Marietta, Georgia served over 33,500 people last year, a thousand of whom were homeless.  They provided them with food and housing, serving 3 meals a day and also handing out hotel vouchers. They have 38 food pantries and have recently started a Senior program although about 55% of those served are children (18,427 just last year).

Most of the women and children are coming from violent homes and most of the time show up with only the clothes on their backs.  The most needed items are women's,
men's or children’s underwear and socks, all sizes. They would appreciate donations of these items from our organization.  If you do not live in the Atlanta are unable to take these items to Must Ministries, there are other options.

Greg Elder, the Senior Director of Must Ministries, suggested we mail WalMart gift cards to P.O. Box 1717 Marietta, GA. 30061 and mention SES WELCA with your gift. Another easy way to donate is on the Must Ministries' Facebook page.  Just click on the donate button and enter an amount. It is easy and no stamps needed!

Or you can send your checks to Karen Andrews
at 950 Eagles Landing Parkway, Suite 617, Stockbridge, GA, 30281 and she can send one check to Must Ministries.  Please remember that we will be supporting Must Ministries until our convention in September 2021.  Even though we did not meet in 2020, they still need our help!

Each issue of The Southeastern Weaver will have more information about the 2020-2022 In-Kind Gathering of Gifts.
